DevOps Engineer- Cloud
What to expect:
Together with the team, you will be in charge of maintaining our (cloud) products.
Along with colleagues from IT architecture, you will create and map our hybrid cloud infrastructure plan.
You will define and configure our system landscape across several cloud providers using infrastructure-as-code tools like AWS Cloud Formation and Terraform.
To further automate build and deployment procedures, you will create, grow, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
You will serve as the team's primary point of contact for inquiries about cloud operations or suggestions regarding the viability of the team's product requirements.
You'll stay current in your area of expertise and contribute suggestions for how to make our DevOps procedures even better.
You'll be a member of a vibrant, global team that embraces you with open arms.
Personal Requirements:
A degree in computer science or information science, or equivalent training/work experience
Thorough understanding of container-based operating models and hybrid cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP vs. on-premise) (e.g. involving Docker, Kubernetes, Istio)
Skilled use of scripting languages for automating DevOps operations, such as Python, JavaScript, Shell Scripting, Ansible, etc.
Solid Linux expertise
Comprehensive knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and popular DevOps tools (e.g. Jenkins, GIT, Jira, Sonar)
Thorough familiarity with agile development techniques
Having some prior knowledge of security issues in the cloud environment is beneficial.
Excellent English language skills; knowledge of German is a plus
