Electrification Operations Analyst

Operate as a key business partner to the Divisions Global Operations Head to optimize operational and financial performance across the Electrification business. Drive Operations savings and improvement projects, support footprint and value chain optimization and operational excellence of the Business. Support effective business decisions by monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting financial and operational performance data in order to evaluate various business alternatives and recommend the most appropriate business solutions. Drive definition and implementation of global standards and business specific guidelines in operational control processes
This position reports to
Group Function Controller
Your responsibilities
Business planning and Forecasting, oversees the business planning and forecasting process for the operational performance of the Business. Evaluates financial and operational implications of various strategic decisions, builds scenarios and recommends actions
Business performance, follow-up on cost efficiency and cash improvement initiatives (inventory) and continuous drive for areas such as cost reductions, productivity increases, and inventory optimization in the Divisions
Monitor operational performance and have close communication with Divisions Global Operations Head and Division CFOs
Drive and follow up on the achievement of set performance targets, ring the bell, react quickly when needed and facilitate actions to close the gaps, share the best practices
Support Divisions in assessing, evaluating and reporting operational improvement projects
Reporting, Controlling and Analysis, responsible for the overall Business’s high quality reporting of actuals, forecasts and budget in line with the Group accounting and reporting guidelines, ensure continuous improvement in the Business’s reporting processes and systems, deployment of Business specific guidelines and common processes in the Business and Divisions, continuous analysis of business performance versus budget and forecast
Support Quality initiatives with financial and operational information and expertise
Risk management: Assesses business risk exposure related to market dynamics (Commodity, inflation, Pricing) and defines risk mitigation strategies to reduce impact on business performance
Your background
Work ethic: delivering on time and with quality consistently
Able to leverage analytical skills (on large amount of data) to respond to business requests
Curiosity and ability to improve existing models used to estimate inflation impact on the business
Good operations skills and a deep understanding of the overall context of business processes
Strong communication skills, strong in information management, computer systems, business engineering or similar
Advanced level for MS Power BI, MS Office 365, ThinkCell and other business intelligence software
Able to work autonomously in decentralized teams
