As Senior Pricing Actuary, you will be responsible for various innovative topics related to the pricing of our products.
In various projects, they optimize one of the core levers for growth and profitability using modern methods and tools.
Their tasks often have points of contact with other teams such as Underwriting, Sales, Product or Service.
We also offer extensive training and development opportunities. If required, we support training to become an actuary (DAV).

Your future fields of activity
Development of stochastic forecast models (risk/cancellation/conversion models) and technical tariffs including the use of state-of-the-art algorithms for data analysis (esp. machine learning, data mining) Innovative further development of the existing actuarial methodology for solving actuarial issues along the entire actuarial value chain as part of the Technical Excellence Initiative of the Allianz Group
Optimization of pricing using AI and machine learning techniques with the help of internal and external data sources
End-to-end responsibility in cross-functional projects and active contribution to strategic initiatives and focus topics of Allianz Group
Strategic rate development and actuarial support for rate and product development (e.g. calculation of benefit enhancements and execution of impact analyses) as well as development and parameterization of pricing tools in underwriting
Preparation of actuarial analyses and dashboards
Processing of results and presentation at board level
Exchange with international pricing colleagues on latest developments

Qualities you need for your new career
Master's degree in mathematics, statistics, physics, computer science, data science, or a comparable subject.
Several years of practical experience in the creation of stochastic forecast models, and technical rates or with corresponding Big Data methods (machine learning, data mining, etc.) as well as in the use of corresponding software (e.g. Emblem, Radar, Radar Live, SAS, R, Python, Java)
If possible, current or completed training as an actuary DAV or another actuarial association recognized by the International Actuarial Association (training is financed by the company)
Knowledge of related areas (e.g. reserving, risk management, accounting, controlling, investment management) would be an advantage
Proven ability to work independently with the willingness to develop new topics and take on project responsibility
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Open and confident manner towards internal and external partners, also in an international context
Very good knowledge of German and/or Englis
