Your Opportunity
woom's Senior Full Stack Developer will be responsible for participating in the design and creation of scalable software, writing clean, functional code on the front- and back-end and be involved in testing, as well as fixing bugs or other coding issues. You will be part of a talented cross-functional team that's responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.
Your Mission
Seeing through a project from conception to finished product
Making sure both technical and business needs are met
Overseeing and guiding the analyzing, writing, building, and deployment of software
Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions
Design client-side and server-side architecture
Developing front end website architecture and
Developing back-end website applications.
Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design with UX/UI Team
Producing, maintaining and modifying websites and user interfaces
Utilizing a variety of markup languages to write web pages
Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications
Write effective APIs
Incorporating applications into our platform portfolio
Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
Maintaining and upgrading the software following deployment
Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
Optimizing platforms for maximum speed and scalability
Create security and data protection settings
Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design
Work with data scientists and analysts to improve software
Maintain legacy code written by other developers and write reusable code for future use and libraries
Create a full technical documentation of all actions and steps taken
Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages
Partnering with other members on the IT team to ensure business evaluation, proper testing, compliance and release management
Your Skills
Proven experience (3+ years) as a Full Stack Developer or similar role
Comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries.
Experience developing desktop and mobile applications
Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS3, JavaScript, XML, jQuery)
Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. C#, Java, Python) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Node.js)
Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g. Apache)
Familiarity with common programming design patterns and best practices
Understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates and AJAX
Knowledge of various CMS solutions – preferably Kentico
Familiarity with UI/UX design and basic prototype design
Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image. Familiarity with tools such as Photoshop is a plus
Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or a related field
Familiar with Agile methodologies
