At Adverity, the design system enables designers and developers to ship a world-class user experience to our customers. As our Staff Frontend Engineer for the design system you will have the rare opportunity to impact all Adverity products and services and improve the user experience at the organisational level. You will support the maintenance and evolution of our design system.
This is a full time position, where you can work either remotely within CET zone or from our office in Vienna, Katowice or Sofia.
Some of the things you’ll work on:
Understand user behaviour and development needs to influence the design system's vision.
Define complex patterns and build modular components.
Create documentation, usage guidelines, and proof of concepts.
Contribute to the design system by taking new design initiatives from ideas to implementation.
Help to create a coherent, scalable, and well-structured design language.
Collaborate with frontend development teams to validate ideas, guide and perform code reviews, and facilitate design system adoption.
Serve as a subject matter expert to designers, engineers, and product managers regarding the design system.
Understand the design needs of a large-scale software project.

Vast experience in building complex applications using React, Typescript, HTML, and CSS.
Deep understanding of architectural patterns.
Proficiency in design fundamentals and principles.
Serious approach to code quality with the ability to perform deep code reviews.
Curious mind and fast learning skills.
Ability to make time-based decisions and believe in technical pragmatism.
Excellent soft skills and communication skills and the ability to solve complex problems.
Team-oriented mindset, enjoy working collaboratively with others to achieve shared goals and mentor other software engineers.

If this position is filled in Vienna, the minimum salary is €70.000. If this vacancy is filled anywhere else, the salary will differ. In any case, we offer competitive salaries depending on your qualifications and experience.
