Senior Site Reliability Engineer

What to expect:

You will report directly to our director of engineering.
You'll continuously enhance our systems' availability, monitoring, traceability, and incident response capabilities.
You will increase the team's security consciousness and aggressively promote best practises for security in infrastructure.
By implementing DevOps procedures throughout all of our working agreements, you will assist our team in growing.
You will continuously gain knowledge from the larger community and enhance our systems and procedures.

Personal Requirements:

Operating distributed systems professionally in a cloud environment (e.g., AWS, GCP)
Professional background in monitoring and alerting system design, management, and ongoing improvement (e.g., Prometheus, Datadog, etc.)
Knowledge of container technologies and prior expertise with cutting-edge container orchestration solutions (like Kubernetes and ECS)
Prior knowledge of "Infrastructure as Code" techniques, including designing procedures for incremental infrastructure upgrades (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
English written and spoken with professionalism.
Ideally, previous management experience with CI/CD processes that are constantly changing (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI, GitHub Actions)
Ideally, prior knowledge of coding for or using JVM systems (Kotlin, Java)
Pre-existing knowledge of credential management solutions, such as Hashicorp Vault and AWS/GCP Secrets Manager, is ideal.
Knowledge of best practises for data privacy and security would be ideal (e.g., GDPR)
