EyeTech Solutions is a recruitment company currently seeking a Software Developer for a freelance position on-site with our client in Luxembourg. The ideal candidate will have experience in .net, SAP, Java and API-based software architectures.

Client Details
Our client is a well-established company in the Utilities domain located in Luxembourg. They are seeking a Software Developer to join their team and manage the development, design, user interface, technology integration, and coordinate activities with external software developers.

Description
As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for managing the development, design, user interface, technology integration, and coordinating activities with external software developers. You will define and enforce software quality standards and guidelines, act as a reference for software development within the IT team, and handle software engineering from planning to operation in regular exchange with internal and external customers. Additionally, you will troubleshoot complex issues, propose solutions, identify cross-functional dependencies, and demonstrate the ability to drive problems to closure. You will maintain subject matter expert competency to positively impact a range of requests and projects in the Utilities domain, build unit tests to guarantee developments to make continuous integration possible, build web-based and service-based applications using SAP and Non-SAP technologies either on-premise or in the cloud, and create and maintain documentation around processes and workflows.

Profiles

Bachelor's Degree or professional qualification in IT application design and development
Professional experience with object-oriented languages and API based software architectures
Highly analytical mindset, combined with an autonomous and organized work attitude
Knowledge of latest SAP technologies, Java Enterprise architectures and Containerisation technologies would be an advantage
Knowledge of SAP IS-U or strong interest in the Energy sector will be considered as an asset
Competencies within any other programming language like C#, Python would be considered as an advantage
Team oriented player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Good verbal and written communication skills, in English, German and/or French is strongly recommended, Luxembourgish is considered as an asset.
