Growth Software Engineer (Python)

My client:
My client is a Machine Learning and AI company that is going through exceptional growth where they have grown by 229% in a 2-year period. They originally began as a Consultancy but started developing their own products which became widely successful across the globe, with one of them serving nearly 50% of the internet!
They are now on the look out for a Growth Software Engineer, which is where you come in. They are looking for someone with a strong Python and SQL background to own, conceptualise and build Software/products that are profitable.
What will you be doing:
You will be reporting into the Engineering department and will be working closely with the Marketing team in helping them develop services and own services on your own with the main aim to make ROI for the company. Right now, there is only 1 other Software Engineer who focuses on working on Marketing services, so you will be working closely with them with the focus of Growth (software, profit etc.).
This is a unique role where you will be collaborating and working closely with both the Software Engineering and Marketing team, giving you access to the wider business/more of the business than a typical Software Engineer would usually have. This means, beyond your technical capabilities, we would want you to be an: anstract thinker, can think outside of the box, go beyond just working with Jira, and comfortable having a role that is revenue oriented.
In the first 6 months of the job, you can expect to:
Go through a list of projects from the marketing team
Familiarise yourself with the tech stack and
Be given smaller well-defined projects to work on
Get exposure to data which will allow you to suggest new opportunities
At the end of the 6 months, it will be expected for you to start up and launch something of your own that will increase revenue
Key Requirements:
Well versed with SQL
Expert in Python
Basic experience/knowledge with React
Nice to Haves:
Previous experience working for a start-up
Having experience being a Founder at a company
