Then come and join our global team as Senior Software Engineer / Developer (f/m/d) for control system application, to shape the technical pathway for our interventional applications.
Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.
Your tasks and responsibilities:

You will work in a scrum team of an agile release train (ART) that develops system control application software to support doctors and medical experts in performing interventional and imaging applications
You are part of a cross-functional team that develops control application software for x-ray control system
You are the contact person to our suppliers who develops x-ray tubes and generator, and responsible for designing interfaces of control application software
You collaborate with different stakeholders and develop the software according to prioritized product backlog
You design and implement high quality software with good, automated test coverage
You actively participate in continuous improvement of the team, software architecture and software design

Your qualifications and experience:

You have successfully completed a master’s in physics (Xray) or medical engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience
You have multiple years of experience in software development, experience in medical domain (especially x-ray system) is preferred
We also welcome applicants with a bachelor's degree or completed vocational training and further education in combination with additional professional experience in this field
You have software development experience in close cooperation with hardware teams
You are proficient in object-oriented software design and development
You have hands-on experience on C++
You have good knowledge about agile software development methodologies e.g., TDD, BDD
You are familiar with software quality standards e.g., clean code, SOLID principles

Your attributes and skills:

You have intercultural experience that can bring you successfully to international projects
You have fluency in English and German to be able to operate successfully in our international environment
You show initiative, team spirit and creativity with the aim of our customers satisfaction and have high values on software quality and efficiency
