Continental is looking for highly skilled Frontend Developer with strong UI/UX exposure to implement and provide technical design along with assisting in UI/UX design for the Tire division’s B2B website, ContiOnlineContact.
You will support the continued development of Continental Tire's B2B web environment and be responsible for the design, creation and testing of Angular web functionalities and components along with collaboration with Mobile teams to align UI/UX designs. You will collaborate with SCRUM team of Java backend developers along DevOps teams for continuous delivery.
In this exciting job you work on the following tasks:

Implement and support highly interactive web pages that have extensive utilization of Angular framework
Develop concepts, prototypes, technical designs along with UI/UX of UI web components based on business requirements.
Collaborate with business partners to analyze user requirements and business objectives to determine application features and functionality.
Help facilitate a highly productive and collaborative work environment.

Collaboration with back end team members for development of restful APIs.
Collaboration with global team members in Europe and Malaysia.

Align application design with business goals
Have responsibility for development of test code / test scenarios ensuring high quality.
Provide post roll out, provide production support for global web application.
Support debugging and technical issue resolutions
Compile technical documentation and user assistance material, requiring excellent written communication.

Your profile

Academic degree in computer science, another technical field or an equivalent qualification
Several years working experience with Angular and related testing frameworks
Several years working experience with CSS, responsive web page design
First experience as an UI-UX Designer or similar role
First experience with BDD [Behavior Driven Development] / Test Driven development paradigms are beneficial
First experience with native mobile development on Android and iOS platforms are beneficial
Professional IT Certifications are beneficial
Ability to communicate effectively with software development team members
Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills
Good organizational skills
Able to work independently
Professional working proficiency in English, German skills of advantage
