Do you want to help create the future of healthcare? Our name, Siemens Healthineers, was selected to honor our people who dedicate their energy and passion to this cause. It reflects their pioneering spirit combined with our long history of engineering in the ever-evolving healthcare industry.
We offer you a flexible and dynamic environment with opportunities to go beyond your comfort zone in order to grow personally and professionally. Sound interesting?
Then come and join our global team as Headquarter Support Engineer for HSC Problem Management Magnetic Resonance (MR) Your tasks and responsibilities:
You will actively coordinate the introduction of new systems and software versions in the standard service process
You will analyze and resolve service problems in the field of magnetic resonance tomography for customers throughout the world, carrying out customer visits where necessary for particularly difficult situations involving customers
You will identify systematic product problems and initiate corrective actions, processing service problems in a methodical manner and describing them in our knowledge database. You will also collaborate closely with Development as a matter of course
You will create and maintain error patterns for automated log evaluation in XMART
You will contribute to change meetings/discussions and give recommendations as to whether proposed changes should be accepted and implemented
You will analyze reports of potential product issues and, depending on the result, forward them as a justified complaint to the Business Lines for generation of a change request
You will review regular escalations relating to system and/or application problems for potential product issues, and will qualify these as a PPI/complaint in conjunction with the person responsible for processing them
To find out more about the specific business, have a look at https://www.siemens-healthineers.com/products-services
Your qualifications and experience:
You have a (master's) degree in electrical engineering, information technology, health informatics, medical engineering or an associated discipline
You have several years of experience with MR products and their software; experience in the independent evaluation of system log files would be advantageous
We would also like to hear from you if you have a bachelor's degree or have completed a program of vocational and further training combined with additional professional experience in this field
You have strong quality awareness; knowledge and experience in the area of QM would be highly advantageous
You have sound knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, including MS Office. Day-to-day use of a PC, including MS Office, poses no problems for you
Your attributes and skills:
In addition to the ability to identify and handle conflict situations, you have an independent way of working and are resilient, committed and a good communicator
In the role as problem manager, you will analyze complex service operations, develop proposed solutions independently and implement these with local service colleagues. Your analytical skills and resilience will help you tackle time-critical issues. Where there is a difficult problem, you will travel directly to the customer at short notice if necessary (approx. 10-25% of your time will be spent traveling)
You will work closely with internal colleagues (in Development and Marketing, for example), and regularly discuss matters with your own direct team. We openly address problems and work together in a constructive way to find solutions for our customers. A good team atmosphere is important to you and you actively contribute to this
You have daily contact with our international service colleagues in English, and you are therefore business-fluent in the language. A knowledge of German would be an advantage. Ideally you have cross-cultural experience
At a personal level, you are a highly analytical self-starter and an excellent communicator and team player with a results-oriented, customer-focused approach
Depending on the experience and qualifications background of the applicant, task enrichment into the area above the general pay scale is possible.
