University Assistant (prae doc)
at the Department of Sport Science

Reference number : 14059

The advertised position is located in the Department of Biomechanics/Kinesiology and Computer Science in Sport at the Institute of Sport Science of the Centre for Sport Science and University Sports of the University Vienna. The Institute for Sport Science invites well qualified and highly motivated candidates to apply for a position as University Assistant for a fixed term of 4-years (at 75% full time equivalent). Successful candidates are required to have a Master‘s degree in Computer Science/Informatics and affinity to sport/ sport science or a Master‘s degree in Sport Science with a special focus on Computer Science. Beside of high competence in informatics high capacity for teamwork is expected. The employment relationship is initially limited to 1.5 years and is automatically extended to a total of 3 years, unless the employer submits a declaration of non-renewal after a maximum of 12 months. There is the possibility of an extension up to 4 years.

Extent of Employment: 30 hours/week
Job grading in accordance with collective bargaining agreement: §48 VwGr. B1 Grundstufe (praedoc) with relevant work experience determining the assignment to a particular salary grade.

- MA in the study field informatics or a related discipline or sport science with a focus on informatics
