Scientist (m/f/d) for Data Science

AIT’s Data Science & Artificial Intelligence group provides data science consulting and solutions for making informed decisions based on large, heterogeneous, and real-time data under strict conditions of IT security and data protection.
As part of our multidisciplinary team, you will conceptualize, design, implement prototypes and proofs of concept in applied research domains.
Development and continuous update of knowledge about the current scientific state of the art and current directions of development / research questions.
Visualization and presentation of data and results (reports, lectures) for different target groups (scientists, customers, stakeholders).
Acquisition and management of national and international research projects (conception, coordination or participation in proposals, project management).
You will publish and present your research results in journals and at scientific conferences.
You will work in a multi-disciplinary team ranging from students to post-doctoral scientists.
With your innovative work you will help to address the most current challenges in data science research.
Your qualifications as an Ingenious Partner:
Advanced degree in computer science, data science, mathematics, statistics, or a related field
At least four years of work experience
Experience with national and international funding programs (proposal submission and project implementation)
Programming (in particular, Python, Java, and JavaScript) and software development skills
Graphical design and experience with web application frameworks (e.g., Angular, React) is a plus!
Excellent written and spoken communication skills (English and German required)

What to expect:

The minimum gross annual salary according to the collective agreement is EUR 53.256,-. The actual salary will be determined individually, based on your qualifications and experience. In addition, we offer company benefits, flexible working conditions, individual training, and career opportunities.
