The following business-critical leadership position is to be filled with immediate effect: Head of Operations / Deputy Head of Department (f/m/x)Location: Vienna YOUR FUTURE ROLELeading and coordinating operations for one department within the company Full leadership responsibility for a highly qualified team of experts Act as Deputy Head of Department and be responsible for all activities related to this role Manage and lead all in-house clinical testing activities to ensure on-time delivery of results Ensure strong cross-functional collaboration: promoting productive and positive teamwork across departments for implementation of new methods into routine testing Act as the first point of contact for providing technical expertise, performing troubleshooting and technical investigations supported by scientists and experts within the department Support regulatory submissions/clinical strategy/clinical operations by provision or review of reports and/or data Ensuring a reliable, effective, timely, and compliant function that meets today's and future needs JOB REQUIREMENTSUniversity Degree (Ph.D.) in life science Post-graduation experience in the field of Immunology, Virology, and/or Microbiology Minimum of 5 years of experience in a highly regulated setting, preferably as a manager or similar Hands-on experience with immunological/biological assays/analytical methods Profound understanding of GCP/GCLP/GMP and ICH guidelines and its related processes Leadership experience: able to manage, motivate and develop a diverse team Strong communication skills paired with joined-up thinking and solution-oriented acting Resilient team player: able to work on multiple projects under pressure and ensure their outcome on time Business fluent in English OUR CLIENT OFFERSOpportunity to work in an agile and highly scientific working environment with short decision-making processes Exciting team-lead role with a high individual responsibility Successful and growing company with an attractive product portfolio and a promising pipeline This position's compensation consists of a gross annual salary of EUR 75.000 (inclusive bonus) or more - depending on your previous experience.
