CBS Data Engineer (f/m/x)

RBI is constantly improving its IT landscape in order to avoid growing technical debt. In the course of this, an existing data mart will be completely overhauled and migrated to a new technical and modernized platform. The new system will play a central role on our way of becoming a data-driven company. As a Data Engineer, you will be significantly involved in all related activities. You will be part of our agile team and take responsibility for the entire software and data lifecycle, starting from the inception and ending with the operation. In our team we provide an open, authentic, supportive, honest and innovative environment, which is based on solid feedback culture and trust.

Your mission at RBI
Analyze, design and assist in the implementation of the future data architecture for our CBS IT landscape
Implement new demands for data delivery, extracts, or reports
Integrate new data provider systems
Support the existing team in daily operational tasks
Ensure that the database operates reliably by troubleshooting and solving issues
Assist and support data recipients

Your core competencies
Solution oriented mindset
Ownership and responsibility for your platform and tasks
Very good SQL and data modeling knowledge
Knowledge in Python and Java Programming
Experience in data automation and data integration
Knowledge of modern data architecture concepts
Good command of English, German is a plus

Nice to have
Databricks platform knowledge
AWS platform knowledge
Knowledge in BI tools like Cognos or Power BI
Experience in the financial industry

Salary: the offered gross yearly salary begins with 55.000 Euro (basis full-time) excluding overtime, depending on qualification and experience.
