We are looking for an experienced Validation & Verification Lead Engineer (m/f/d) for our NFC Software in Graz.
Your Responsibilities
Software verification/validation of NFC based systems
Specification and implementation of software test concepts
Define requirements for necessary test software and hardware
Define software test plans according to Software/Product Requirement Specification
Contribute to software test architecture decisions covering current and future products
Implementation, verification and review of software test cases
Optimization of test software/test cases including automation, execution time, robust-ness, debugging and logging possibilities
Software test execution and first level debugging
Documentation (test case implementation, test reports, bug reports)
Maintenance of software test setup
Working with external partners (defining and monitoring SW V&V related tasks)
Are you the right person?
Degree in the field of software engineering, computer science or equivalent
Practical experience in identifying and implementation of test cases / test scenarios
Practical experience in creating test plans
Solid understanding of SDLC and STLC (Software Development/Test Life Cycle)
Solid programming skills in Java, ANSI C, C++
Experience in script languages (e.g. Python) and build tools (e.g. CMake, Maven)
Experience with software development and version control system (e.g. Git, etc.,)
Show strong analytical skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience in automating lab tests
Good communication skills (engineers, managers, customers)
Fluent in English – German skills are a plus

Added Advantages
Being able to use laboratory equipment like oscilloscopes, logic analyzers etc.
Experience in NFC/RFID protocols, specifications and certification bodies
Experience in DevOps / Continuous Integration

About us
Since 2014 we, Panthronics, have been working on the development of innovative products based on NFC technology, consisting of hardware and software. We were founded as a start-up in Graz, Austria and have further expanded our teams to APAC and North America in the past years.
