Application Security Engineer

What to expect:

In terms of security, you assist and counsel agile software development teams. This covers the avoidance, recognition, and correction of vulnerabilities.
You identify hazards in applications, assess them, and work with the development teams to find suitable solutions.
You perform threat modelling assessments and code reviews. Your portfolio also includes security audits and testing.
You'll be responsible for maintaining and raising the security requirements for our applications.

Personal Requirements:

You are acquainted with agile software development as well as the Java, Javascript, and Typescript development stacks.
You are also familiar with ideas like cloud-native solutions, web services, event-driven architecture, and microservices.
You contribute to projects by sharing your expertise in application security (DevSecOps, SAST, DAST, Best Practices).
Ideally, you are knowledgeable about and adept at using several security standards, such as NIST, TiSax, and BSI, for the projects.
You have excellent English communication skills, so working with your interdisciplinary team of employees won't be an issue.
