We are seeking an experienced C++ Developer with excellent z/OS knowledge to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, developing, and maintaining a z/OS based mainframe product. The developer will perform new feature development, complex code modification and testing tasks, as well as provide high level analysis related to software development.Responsibilities:Develop, maintain and enhance software applications using C++ in a Z/OS and UNIX environmentEnsure the quality of the code and product by performing thorough testing and debuggingWork with the BAZEL build system and common CI/CD pipeline tools to build and deploy software productsUtilize GCC and several CPU architectures (e.g. big endian and little endian) to ensure compatibility across different systemsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and consistency across all software development initiativesStay up-to-date with industry trends and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities and best practicesRequirements:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field5+ years of experience in C++ programming in z/OS and UNIX environments with excellent z/OS knowledgeExperience with BAZEL build system and common CI/CD pipeline toolsStrong knowledge of GCC and several CPU architectures (e.g. big endian and little endian)Ability to analyze and solve complex problems related to software design and developmentAbility to work independently and in a team environmentFluent in EnglishNice-to-have:Basic knowledge about JAVA and COBOLIf you have a passion for software development, are committed to quality, and have the technical skills and experience we're looking for, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.Job Type: Full-timeAbility to commute/relocate:Vienna, W: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
