RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Quality Assurance Engineer at Pimcore you will …
Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for Pimcore's software products using GitHub workflows
Integrate automated tests with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
Leverage SonarQube or similar tools to measure and improve code quality by identifying defects, vulnerabilities, and code smells
Collaborate with development, product management, and other QA team members to ensure comprehensive test coverage
Utilize containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes, to create and manage test environments
Manage Git branches and pull requests, ensuring proper workflows for code integration and review
Analyze test results, identify issues, and report defects on time
Contribute to the improvement of testing strategies, methodologies, and processes
Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies in QA automation, GitHub workflows, code quality analysis, containerization, and Git management
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
3+ years of experience in QA automation, including designing and implementing automated tests
Strong expertise in using GitHub workflows for test automation and CI/CD pipelines
Proficiency with SonarQube or similar code quality analysis tools
Knowledge of containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes
Familiarity with Git branching strategies, pull request management, and collaborative code review
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Experience with Pimcore or other open-source data and experience management platforms
Knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, or other programming languages

For this position we offer a starting salary of EUR 70,000 gross/year with the potential to earn more, depending on your qualifications and experience.
