This role is open to Hybrid work with 25% travel to onsite client location (1 week/month)
Purpose:
Join a small team responsible for developing and delivering Production Printshop Management software that is the cornerstone of several European contracts. If you are a collaborative person, works well with teammates and an occasional Client, and are a motivated self-starter, then we want you! Come help us grow our business.
Responsible for those functions, activities, and skills required for analysis, design, coding, integration, test & maintenance of software modules, subsystems or systems which control other electrical, mechanical, electronic or network systems.
Scope:
3-5 years software development experience in a commercial product development environment
Translates business requirements into technical requirements pertaining to the solution being developed for a Client
Manages time well and good estimator of effort to complete software development tasks
Primarily domestic scope; may include some international scope (rare)
Primary Responsibilities:
Role includes occasional work on-site with Customer to work through defects of the digital print production solution or environment.
Develops and tests software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products.
Will write Documentation, install software, and provide ongoing Level 2 support for Client solutions.
Analyzes, programs, and modifies software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked, or Internet-related computer programs.
Tests and debugs software * Provides ongoing Software Support after solution goes Live.
All other duties as assigned.
This role is "remote capable" however regular travel to site (Bad Hersfeld, Germany) will be needed about 80% of the time initially, then less over time.
