Role Type: Permanent
Job Description:
strong hands on coding experience with Python, Java, and/or Scala programming languages
hands on experience on tracking data lineage, ensuring data quality and improving discoverability of data via metadata creation
Experience in agile methods such as SCRUM or KANBAN way of working
Experience with Git, GitLab, AWS DevOps tools such as CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy
Solid linux skills admin experience; shell scripting
understanding of data federation tools such as Snowflake, Dremio, Starburst, Denodo
hands on experience with Infrastructure as Code(IaaC) using Terraform or Serverlessframework
hands on experience deploying to production using AWS services like SNS, SQS, S3, Redshift, Glue, EMR, EKS, Lambda, Cloud Watch, Kinesis, Athena, etc.
Database systems (SQL and NoSQL). NoSQL databases : DyanmoDB, Cassandra , MongoDB, Elastic search, Sql databases: Oracle, Sql Server
hands on experience with ETL (Extract, Transfer, Load) and tools such Talend, Apache Kafka
hands on experience dealing with huge volumes of current and historical data for query and analysis and having understanding of Data warehousing
hands on experience building restful micro services (data APIs)
Understanding the basics of distributed systems
Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
