Engineering DevOps Lead (f/m/x)
As Technical group lead inside the engineering discipline & transformation team you are responsible for providing state-of-the-art development and deployment environments. Your main tasks will also be supporting application design and modernization towards cloud ready and reusable components, integrating CI/CD best practices in project tool chains and coordinating DevOps methods used in different products in order to allow efficient execution of engineering projects.

Your CHALLENGE
Act as Technical Group Lead and Product Owner for the Development and optimization of railway product infrastructures in public and on-premises cloud environments
Support development teams in cloud native application developments
Support development teams in build, test, release and deployment automation (CI/CD)
Support operational teams in site reliability engineering issues
Working in a world-wide international team and in cooperation with other business line units
Collaboration in a distributed agile team
Contribute to business and budget planning within your area of responsibility
Your PROFILE
Completed university or equivalent study at master level in computer science, software engineering or related fields
At least 3 years experiences in modern software development frameworks (e.g. Spring Boot, Quarkus) and very good understanding of state-of-the-art software engineering practices like “12 factor apps”.
Experience with the following technologies/methodology are a must have:
Public and/or private cloud environments (e.g. AWS, Azure, OpenStack)
Container technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift or similar
State-of-the-art CI/CD pipelines and principles
LINUX system administration
Experience with project coordination and people management
Knowledge of cybersecurity standards are highly welcome
Experience with working in an international context (multi-unit/multi-site) is beneficial
Experience in agile methodology is beneficial
Fluency in English and a good level of German
Innovative, adaptable and customer-oriented team player
We OFFER
The salary for this position ranges from € 65.000 to € 78.000 gross p.a. Actual compensation is based on experience and qualification and can exceed the mentioned range.
