Java Developer ORBIS RIS (m/f/d) - Vienna / Home office possible
You will be part of our development team taking care of one of our core products in Diagnostic Imaging IT (DIIT). ORBIS RIS is our radiology information system, which is used in ±400 radiologies.
Your new role:
Developer responsible for all development tasks concerning the product: Feature development as well as correction of software bugs
Java-based development, as well as ORBIS' own development language (after initial training)
Building expertise in the area of clinical IT
Tightly collaborate and exchange your ideas with Product Owner and team members
Perspective further development in new technologies (e. g. Angular)
Over time become a technical expert in the healthcare / hospital imaging domain and related standards (FHIR, DICOM, etc.)
Your skills:
A university degree in computer science (or related degree) and/or equivalent work experience
Advanced Java development skills
Confident handling of SQL database queries (e.g. Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL)
Very good problem analysis skills and ability to work out complex interrelationships independently
Structured way of working, distinctive methodical approach, as well as a confident appearance in communication
Knowledge of communication standards and frameworks as well as workflows in radiology (HL7, IHE, DICOM) desirable
Very good knowledge of German, both written and spoken
Good English skills, both written and spoken
