Senior Software Engineer

What to expect:

You create embedded software for Linux and Android systems.
You'll be involved in initiatives that build hardware and software needs.
Together with the responsible architect, you create software architectures.
You create software designs, software solutions, and perform error assessments.
You provide code reviews, assist coworkers with technical issues, and transfer specialised knowledge.
You are in favour of procedures that are continuously improved, including research and the adoption of new software development technologies.
You will continue to pursue independent education in the technical fields.
You take over the autonomous planning and scheduling of the development project's allocated responsibilities.
You monitor adherence to regional and corporate standards, particularly during the development process.

Professional

Requirements:

You possess an electrical engineering degree, a technical computer science degree, or a degree with a similar field of study.
You have solid professional expertise developing software using Scala, Java, Rust, or C++, as well as object-oriented or multi-paradigm programming languages. Additionally, or alternatively, you contribute expertise in frontend development using web technology.
You've worked with Scrum, an agile development methodology.
Your understanding with web technologies and/or the creation of apps for embedded systems with touch user interfaces is ideal.
Git handling safely comes naturally to you. Additionally, you should be well-versed in CI/CD technologies, such as GitLab, Gerrit, Jenkins, and Docker.
You have extensive knowledge of UNIX-like operating systems.
You are familiar with collaboration tools like Confluence and problem tracking systems like JIRA.
You are fluent in both spoken and written English, and ideally, German as well.
