As Senior Engineer Failure Analysis (f/m/div*) you will localize and analytically characterize failures in electrical and physical analyses. In addition, you will act as an analytical partner and consultant for various development and problem-solving activities. In this role, you will build a broad network within the Infineon organization and beyond. You will get to know a wide variety of technical issues and answer them analytically with the help of your expertise and creativity.

In your new role you will:

perform electrical analysis (technology development / product development / qualifications / customer returns)
determine the overall analysis strategy (including chemical and physical analysis steps)
report and communication of results , interface with relevant stakeholders, as well as active participation in problem solving teams and task forces.
support and consult product and technology development projects
establish analytical capability for new products and technologies.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:

successfully completed a university degree (Master or PhD) in the field of Electrical Engineering or similar
Know-how in the field of analog circuit technology
familiarity with the basics of programming
interest or knowledge in semiconductor physics
experience in failure analysis methods
physical / chemical analysis methods (as a plus)
the ability to work in a team, and are communicative, stress-resistant and flexible
a steep learning curve and enjoy creative problem solving
excellent English skills (German language skills are a bonus)
We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification. The employment is in accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the electrical and electronics industry, employment group G ( https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2022.pdf). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.
