Java Developer

What to expect:

To be able to design and offer effective technological solutions, it is necessary to comprehend client requirements and technically refine product specifications.
Java backend development with Spring and Spring Boot
Within established architectural principles, design, create, test, debug, maintain, and document components and new functions (i.e., write well-thought-out, testable, efficient code!)
Create and implement APIs for external systems, specific modules, or serverless elements.
Support or carry out code reviews, integration tests, and unit tests.
Involvement in the development of software architectures and technology choices.
Active involvement in agile work processes, often in collaboration with customer teams.
Share your expertise with the team, take care of any technical issues, let them know about any roadblocks, and let them know about potential solutions.

Requirements:

A computer science degree or equivalent training.
A solid understanding of Java backend development utilising Spring/Spring Boot.
Having knowledge of relational SQL databases and/or document-based NoSQL databases.
Experience with integration patterns and web services (REST).
Knowledge of distributed version control, test automation, and CI/CD.
Taking pleasure in agile software development methods, such as Scrum or Kanban.
A method of working that is organised, analytical, proactive, and responsible.
Having a friendly disposition and effective communication abilities.
Excellent command of both written and spoken German and English.
Readiness to travel around Germany with a focus on local assignments.
