Your Responsibilities
It started with an idea, and now MindMeister is the world’s #1 mind mapping tool. We’re on the map – but to make our software even better, we need a motivated Front End developer to dive into our homegrown stack of React.js and Redux. As we rework our technical components, we’ll need your knowledge of best practices to bring MindMeister into a bright new age.
With your fellow developers, you will add new features, improve existing ones, and identify areas for improvement. As a feature owner, you can count on a team of designers, product managers and QA engineers to bring your ideas to life. In the team, you will coach junior coworkers while benefiting from the guidance of our more experienced engineers; turbocharging your career and bringing MindMeister to the Front End of our users’ minds.
What Makes You Special
2+ years’ experience. You have a proven track record developing Front.End applications.
JavaScript, HTML and CSS skills. You know your stuff in modern JavaScript frameworks like React, Redux, Vue or Next.js. HTML5 canvas element is a plus!
Experience with web frameworks. Ruby on Rails and Elixir are a big plus!
Great communication skills (English). It’s not just programming languages that make you tick.
Problem solving. You can understand tasks quickly and find the solutions independently.
Team spirit. Your outstanding work ethic doesn’t just fit Meister: it makes us better.
