RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Software Deployment Engineer at Pimcore you will …
Design, develop, and maintain GitHub workflows to automate the software deployment process
Collaborate with the development team to ensure seamless integration of deployment strategies into the software development lifecycle
Monitor and maintain the stability, security, and performance of the deployed applications
Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and aligned on deployment timelines and deliverables
Develop and implement best practices for deployment management, including the creation of relevant documentation
Troubleshoot and resolve deployment-related issues on time
Continuously evaluate and optimize deployment processes to maximize efficiency, reliability, and quality
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
5+ years of experience in software deployment and release management
Deep knowledge of GitHub workflows, including writing custom actions and using third-party actions
Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools, such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI
Familiarity with containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes
Strong understanding of version control systems, specifically Git
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management abilities

Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, and similar programming languages
Experience with cloud-based infrastructure, such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
Familiarity with Agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban

For this position we offer a starting salary of EUR 70,000 gross/year with the potential to earn more, depending on your qualifications and experience.
