Software Developer

What to expect:

Most banks still house their most crucial core banking systems on mainframe computers, which are of equally high importance. These systems include payment transactions.
Analysing, developing, implementing, testing, and commissioning solutions in response to the functional and technical needs of our clients.
Operation and future development of the PL/I software used by our clients, in part in collaboration with our local and international teams.
Providing our clients with support throughout all necessary phases of the software delivery lifecycle, including test, change, incident, and problem management.
Software test design, documentation, execution, and automation.
Involvement in the system's modernisation and enhancement.
Monitoring and implementing IT governance and strategy requirements.

Personal Requirements:

Degree in (business) mathematics, economics, computer science, or a related field
Good command of the IBM PL/I programming language, or good command of C++ with a desire to learn PL/I more.
Preferably knowledge of z/OS, JCL, SQL, Db2, and Git.
It would be ideal to have knowledge of banking goods or procedures.
Knowledge of Java, online services, and contemporary technologies is advantageous.
A love of challenging consulting projects, excitement in working with customers, and pride in the team.
Knowledge of agile working techniques.
Excellent command of both German and English.
Consultancy entails adaptability: Your project assignment, which may entail both hybrid work and on-site tasks, relies on our customers and the specifics of your project.
