Your new work routine is centered around designing customized solutions and prototypes for NFC contactless-enabled products . Your workday typically starts with reviewing your emails to see if there are any customer requests or inquiries that need attention.

You'll also spend a significant portion of your time interacting with customers; You’ll assist them in integrating Infineon's contactless security innovations into their systems, create professional training materials , and educate them on products and standards . You understand that customers may have different levels of technical knowledge, so you adapt your communication style to ensure that everyone is on the same page.

Additionally, you’ll use your knowledge of contactless systems to identify areas where Infineon can improve its products and services to better meet customer needs .

Your new job at a glance

Design customized solutions and prototypes for NFC contactless-enabled products

Evaluate existing contactless systems according to available standards (ISO/IEC 14443, EMVCo, NFC forum)

Closely interact with our customers (assist customers in integrating our contactless security products into their systems, create professional training materials, and educate customers on products and standards)

Gather customer requests on tools, products and contribute to the product definition phase

Who you are

A communicational engineer with:

A degree in Electrical Engineering , Telecommunications Engineering , Telematics or equivalent (focus on RFID and micro controllers is a plus)
3+ years of relevant working experience in application engineering , semiconductor product development or similar functions with strong customer exposure
Solid programming skills (e.g. C, C#, Java, Python)
Nice to have: Contactless antenna design
Motivated to work in an intercultural , international team , and the willingness to travel worldwide
Fluent English skills . German skills are a plus

This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry, employment group H-I (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2022.pdf). A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills.
