With your technical background and advisory mentality, you will embrace the change and be a key person in the daily engagement with our internal clients. You will be primarily responsible for the teams agile engineering delivery for various client related initiatives, projects, and products.

Your contribution to KPMG
Work with multidisciplinary teams on business demands within the Tax, Legal and Advisory function and develop a broad understanding of technical stack and identify areas for improvement of the day-to-day delivery.
Analyze today's software systems and business applications and conduct solution design initiatives by demonstrating the adoption of best practices in software systems engineering to solve complex problems with use of a sophisticated set of technical competences.
Scale systems and technology sustainably through mechanisms like automation or digitization and evolve systems by pushing for changes that improve efficiency and reliability throughout the lifecycle.
Facilitate alignment and clarity across teams on goals, outcomes, and timelines to build trustworthy relations with internal and external stakeholders as clients, product owners/managers and external suppliers
Identify and communicate product risks and impacts, considering business and technology implications based on the application of system engineering and software development methodology to the current environment
Lead high-level project activities to identify customer technical objections and develop a strategy to resolve technical blockers among available capabilities to ensure service/product operations and quality.
This is what makes you successful
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or similar
Minimum of 3-5 years' experience as software systems engineer, DevOps engineer, solution engineer or solution designer in a technical environment with strong focus on business processes and requirement engineering, on processes, workflows, data, integration, and operational excellence.
Entrepreneurial spirit and ownership of own tasks and services/products
Analytical, problem-solving and risk management competencies – Experience in Agile, DevOps and product-oriented mindset would be appreciated
Experience (and pref. expertise) in cloud technology ecosystem, preferably MS (eg. Power Platform, Azure) and in one or more of the following languages: C, C++, Java, Python, Go, Perl, or Ruby.
Self-motivating and self-guiding personality. Ability to communicate with business, development, and architect stakeholders - Driven and passionate about delivering business value outcome
Professional English is a must, German knowledge would be appreciated
