You will join a highly dynamic development team, supporting with your excellent skills a new and highly competitive product in the automotive industry. This new product for battery cell testing is based on our very successful product from the space domain (power test equipment for satellites). These battery cell testers are used in the various stages of assembly, integration, verification and testing of the different subsystems of battery manufacturers. Our goal is to design, configure, assemble, integrate, and test our own products to finally deliver them to our customers (battery manufacturers) and put them into operation at their premises.
With your power electronics background you will translate the requirements from Product Line Management (PLM) to manage requirements for the system architecture and create the related requirements for the development team (HW and SW). You will validate the solutions through testing (testcase definition and execution). Your main interfaces are the R&D-HW and -SW architects and the PLM.
Your responsibilities will cover:
Supporting our PLM in requirement engineering
Requirement specification for our SW- and HW-development teams
Push and drive the development teams
Creation of test plans and test specifications based on customer and internal requirements
Design and evaluation of test setups
Integration of test setups into a common automated test platform
Testing and verification of electronic circuits, bug fixing, update of schematics and documentation
Documentation, analysis and reporting of test results
As you will be working on a cutting-edge design of a power electronics product, your diligence and experience will be vital for the overall success of the R&D project. Your commitment will make it possible to develop a turnkey solution for satellite testing!
