Your mission
As woom's Senior Frontend Developer, you will be responsible for developing new user-facing features, determining the structure and design of web pages, building reusable codes, optimizing web pages for maximum efficiency (e.g. page loading times) and using a variety of markup languages to create the web pages. You will be part of the development and deployment process and work alongside a small and talented team of developers.
Collaborate with the UX/UI design team to ensure web designs are cohesive, intuitive, and user-friendly.
Translate wireframes into actual code, ensuring accessibility and a mobile-first approach, and develop new user-facing features to enhance the overall user experience.
Develop and maintain reusable code libraries while ensuring comprehensive technical documentation of all processes and procedures.
Construct and maintain high-performance, scalable websites and user interfaces using various markup languages, while optimizing for speed and efficiency.
Integrate new applications with existing portfolios to create a cohesive, unified software solution that delivers a seamless user experience.
Maintain and troubleshoot website issues and bugs, while also developing tools that improve the user experience.
Collaborate with IT team members to ensure proper testing and compliance, including creating and implementing security and data protection settings for software applications.
Your skills
3+ years of experience in web or app development
Proficient in HTML5 and CSS3, with an understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms such as LESS and SASS
Proficient in client-side scripting with experience in JavaScript frameworks such as jQuery and AngularJS, KnockoutJS, BackboneJS, and ReactJS
Demonstrated expertise in responsive and adaptive design principles.
Expertise in front-end web technologies such as asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
Familiarity with CMS solutions, preferably Kentico, and basic knowledge of image authoring tools
Proficient in cross-browser compatibility issues, responsive and adaptive design, SEO principles, and key design principles
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with working proficiency in English
Our offer
For this position, we offer you a gross monthly salary starting at EUR 4.580,00 on a full-time basis. Of course, we take into account your individual qualifications and experience and are willing to pay an appropriate overpayment. We will be happy to discuss details in person.
