We are seeking a talented and experienced WordPress Developer to join our marketing team at a leading B2B software company. As a WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing our own high-quality WordPress websites, plugins and other digital assets to support our business goals.

Your role

Design and develop the BOC Group websites that promote our B2B software products and services

Development of new and extension of existing functionality in own and 3rd party plugins

End-to-end project execution: from concept to collaborative design, joint implementation, testing and deployment

Regular rollout of plugins, extensions and updates to the CMS and its plugins

Focus on a clean data and website architecture for re-usability, maintenance, and SEO

Ensure the security, stability, and scalability of our WordPress sites through effective development and maintenance practices

Cross-team collaboration with design, content, and DevOps teams

Your profile

Good English skills (both oral and in writing) and open communications culture

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, web design, or a related field

At least 3 years of professional experience in WordPress development

Expertise in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

Know-how in the creation of plugins, modules, usage of APIs, and web services

Experience with Git, GitHub, and version control workflows is a plus

Basic knowledge of Avada and FusionBuilder is an advantage

Understanding of SEO best practices and techniques is beneficial

The present position is offered for a minimum gross salary of 3,455 EUR/month (subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement for a full-time employment). Higher payment according to qualification and experience is possible.
