You love technology, a dynamic environment and want to be part of state-of-the-art developments? The Frontend cluster is responsible for the planning, quality and productivity of its semiconductor manufacturing and drives related process and manufacturing innovations. This specific internship is suitable for students within a degree program in Chemistry or similar. Don't miss this chance, because Infineon Austria in Villach is the place to be!
Within this position you will get the chance to work in a clean room environment with a small team. In your new role you will:

Operate Trace Analysis in state-of-the-art analytical tools such as VPD, ICPMS, AAS, TXRF, AD-GCMS, Titrator, UV, Liquid particle and other little tools
Be able to make special test measurement such as shaking test for boxes and FOUP and analysis air samples
Be able to dilute sample/DI water/chemicals and measure in ICPMS/AAS
Be able to support and make special analysis requests from production or other department e.g. mask contamination determination
Be able to write simple presentation slides on the experiment carried out method developing independently

Further information

Type of employment: Temporary / Full-time or part-time (Flexible working hours from Monday to Friday between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.)

Duration: min. 6 months
You successfully meet the requirements, if you are a motivated and committed student from the field of Chemistry or similar. You are best equipped for this task if you additionally have:

Chemical knowledge of basic handling and disposing of chemicals
Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Team playing and strong interpersonal skills
The ability to work independently
Good German skills
This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry (full-time), employment group B for bachelor students, employment group D for master students (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2022.pdf).
