Siemens IT crafts, implements, and operates IT environments for over 250.000 employees of Siemens AG and more than 800.000 external identities. The IT team at Siemens is looking for an IAM architect to support our globally distributed team. We are responsible for managing an authentication service based on Auth0 technology and AWS services.

This is your role: As architect of one of our strategic IT services you will be responsible to further design, develop and automate the service that supports the authentication of the external identities.

Candidates should have strong domain matter expertise in IAM solutions, in particular authentication protocols. Cloud solutions and continuous integration and deployment approaches to development are also a requirement.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

Participate in interesting and exciting projects (e.g., implementation of new IT-service offering which are relevant for Siemens employees and customers around the globe, specifically in the areas of IAM)
Develop solutions and recommendations for issues caused by process challenges, emerging threats, and technology changes
Act as trusted security architecture advisor with extensive evidence of ability to provide strategic direction in leading activities in support of IAM tools & technologies and enterprise security objectives
Act as a trusted consultant for our internal customers when they have questions or raise new demands regarding IAM
Collect, evaluate, and run the demands from our internal customers

Your qualifications and experience:

University degree in Computer Science, or a related field would be preferred.
At least 5 years of professional experience and solid grasp of IAM concepts
Experience with IAM solutions, ideally Auth0
Knowledge of SSO and authentication methods (OIDC/OAUTH2, SAML)
Knowledge of public cloud solutions and modern authentication concepts (AWS, MFA, Security Tokens)
Knowledge of IT systems and concepts
Knowledge of software development and associated tools (Java, git and RESTful services are a plus)
