OneSpan is looking for a talented Software Application Engineer to join our international and diverse R&D team in Vienna!
The OneSpan Authentication Server solutions provide multi-factor authentication. These products are available as on-prem and cloud solutions. The main focus of the Software Application Engineer is to analyze issues reported by our customers and other departments with a focus on cloud products. You will cooperate with first and second level support and with developers to fully understand and find solutions.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Main task is to analyze issues reported by customers and other departments
Cooperate with other departments (for example DevOps) to ensure high availability of OneSpan services
Solve critical issues by proposing workarounds or configuration changes
Report findings in the ticketing tool
Analyze the code and collaborate with the development organization on software improvements
Participate in the development process as an active member of the Scrum team
Collaborate with product specification team by proposing new or enhanced features

Requirements:

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Engineering or comparable experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience in third level support
Windows or LINUX system knowledge
Oracle, Aurora, MSSQL or MariaDB knowhow
REST, SOAP, HTTP, HTTPS is seen as advantage
Java skills are required
Understanding of security software concepts is appreciated
Company language is English
