EyeTech Solutions, a leading recruitment company, is currently hiring a Senior Java Developer for our esteemed client in Luxembourg. This is an on-site freelance opportunity for 6 months with possible extensions. We are looking for a skilled professional who will contribute to the digitalization of the bank by building and enriching business and customer applications.

Client Details
Our client is a prominent banking institution undertaking a significant digital transformation. As part of this initiative, they are focused on developing cutting-edge solutions and enhancing the customer experience. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic team and work on innovative projects.

Description
Build and enrich business and customer applications, ensuring adherence to code and architecture quality standards.
Participate in all project phases, from design to maintenance.
Design and develop interactive interfaces for an optimal customer journey.
Develop REST APIs and data access components.
Implement best practices in systems and information security.
Strengthen the industrialization of developments through continuous integration, traceability of changes, configuration management, and observability.
Collaborate proactively and efficiently with IT employees and stakeholders as required.
Provide and coordinate production support and incident management.

Profiles

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in application development.
Junior to 10 years of professional experience in a similar role.
Proficiency in Eclipse, VS Code, Maven, GIT, Sonar, NPM, Node.js, and related tools.
Solid understanding of Contract First concepts (REST API) and associated tools/practices.
Knowledge of cloud-native concepts/tools, including Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift, Ansible, CI/CD, Gitlab, Sonar, etc.
Familiarity with application security concepts such as OAuth2, JWT, HTTPS, PKI, and OWASP.
Basic understanding of UI/UX principles.
(Optional) Mastery of the Spring suite (Spring Core, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Batch, etc.).
(Optional) Proficiency in a recent version of Angular.
Excellent communication skills.
Critical and analytical mindset.
Highly motivated, dedicated, and curious.
Strong team player.
Fluent in French and English, with knowledge of Luxembourgish being an asset.
