Company Description
As the IT of the REWE International, we work together with our more than 450 IT employees to develop innovative IT products and services for all our corporate divisions in Austria and abroad, setting the tone for modern trade. In the role of Enterprise Architecture Product Owner, you develop and lead a vision for our IT system landscape together with your team. You will also closely work with Solution Architects on the alignment of individual products within the application landscape to the new cloud-based technology-stack.
Job Description
Leadership of EAM Team (Enterprise architecture management) at REWE International. Together with your team
Designing and offering services that the EAM team offers to the organization
Governance of the IT architecture and preparation of strategic decisions for C level management like e.g. Cloud first strategy
Running key EAM processes and services, such as architecture board and IT process integration
Driving the modernization of the REWE application landscape
Moderation and coordination of architecture decisions
Review architecture decisions and projects to align the application landscape business and IT priorities
Consulting solution architects, teams and product owners in defining a feasible aligned architecture
Analysis and documentation of the existing system landscape (applications, infrastructure, data flow, etc.)
Establish and govern an end-2-end view of the application landscape along the business domains
Constant alignment of the application landscape with domains, capabilities and product portfolio
Establishing standards and guidelines regarding architectures
Training of the IT organization in relevant architectural methodologies and guidelines
Internal marketing of EAM team and communication of results and progresses
Qualifications
You have professional management experience and with Enterprise Architect Management methods and frameworks, e.g. TOGAF, Arc42, …
Preferably, you have experience in the retail sector
Successfully completed IT training (HTL, FH, university, or similar)
Experience in cloud architecture, Java SE, Java EE, Angular, Spring Boot, GCP, Kafka, Kubernetes, …
Awareness of legacy technologies such as Oracle Forms, PSQL, Oracle DB, …
Experience in the transformation of legacy applications
Experience with modeling in ADOIT, or working in EAM tools such as ArchiMate, LeanIX or similar
Leadership and mentoring skills
Holistic and strategic mindset
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Broad and deep technical know-how
Knowledge of system integration, macro-architecture patterns, software design and architecture
Knowledge in the areas of information security (ISO 27001) as well as data protection (GDPR)
Fluent in English and German
Certification in one of the major public cloud offerings is an advantage, especially GCP.
