We are looking for talented Senior Data and Process Analyst (f/m/d) for Analytic Process Automation (APA), Advanced Analytics and Machine Learning to join our team at Siemens Energy in Weiz to support the transition to a more sustainable and energized world!

A Snapshot of Your Day

You will be a Data Analyst supporting the Process Digitalisation Team for Grid Technologies within our Siemens Energy organization. Within the program for Digitalization of Production and Processes you will be in direct contact with the factories (40+) within the Manufacturing Network and implement solutions for Analytic Process Automation (APA). You will be responsible to create value out of available data sources by deploying data analytics methods, models, algorithms, and visualizations. You will offer and transfer those solutions to the manufacturing locations with the goal to extract business relevant insights as a foundation for management reporting, transparency and decision making for sustainable growth. As a successful candidate you will demonstrate the ability to drive complex, cross-functional strategic initiatives that impact the planning, organization, and implementation of our product portfolio to the market world-wide.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Responsibility for all topics related to Analytic Process Automation (APA), focusing on the data-driven automation and digitalization of an international manufacturing network including underlying processes (e.g. production, sales, finance, quality, supply chain management and logistics).
Comprehensive analyses regarding processes and respective requirements (related to before mentioned areas) and proactive generation, follow-up, assessment, reporting and scaling of digital use cases.
Explicit focus on Predictive Analytics and Assisted Machine Learning regarding mass data in production processes.
Specific and hands-on implementation of digital use cases for the entire Business Area, the Clusters and all associated 40+ factories worldwide by means of comprehensive data models and visualizations, using current state-of-the-art tools and methodologies.
Proactive and overall contribution to the continuous optimization of data, value and process chains within the Business Area to become a data-driven, transparent, agile and efficient organization.
What You Bring
Successfully passed study in Computer Science or similar course of studies.
High affinity for data, processes and IT structures as well as strong logical reasoning.
Advanced experiences and references in the area of data processing, predictive analytics and machine learning (e.g. SQL, ETL, BI), especially by means of Alteryx, but as well with AWS, UiPath and Tableau. Always in combination with knowledge about SAP structures, data bases etc.
Comprehensive knowledge about one or more coding languages (e.g. C/C++, Java, JS, R, Python) would be beneficial.
Comprehensive experiences and track record in the field of production.
Business fluent in German and English (both orally and in writing).
Strong communication skills, personality and persuasiveness.
Readiness to travel globally to visit factories and to organize workshops within a large, complex, and global network of factories.

At Siemens Energy we offer competitive compensation and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification. Due to the Austrian legal regulations, we are obliged to state the minimum salary for this position. Please note that there is a clear willingness for a higher compensation considering your individual expectations, expertise and skills. The minimum salary for this position in the collective agreement for the electrical and electronics industry is in the amount of 55.000 € gross/year for a full-time position (38,5 h/week).
