We are excited to invite applications for the Brand Manager Home Care position to support our Europe Division Marketing department.
The job will be located in Basel.
How will you contribute to this role?
You will be part of an international group working on new product development for Europe and on Global projects for the Home Care category.
You will report to the Brand Equity Manager Fabric Softener & Dish, Home Care
The principal duties and responsibilities are:
Planning, implementing and tracking New Product Launches and Re-launches and developing advertising campaigns in collaboration with the agency.
Support the development and Execution of strong Brand strategies/plans and programs for the assigned segments within the Fabric Softener category.
Lead and coordinate bundle development with R&D, Regulatory, Legal, Supply Chain and Packaging teams Interact with outside consultants including advertising agencies, public relations firms, market research consultants as per project needs
Frequent interaction with marketing departments of local Hubs as well as other Divisions and Global Marketing teams.
What are the required skills and competencies?
Good marketing and commercial capabilities, with the ability to translate a marketing plan into a sound commercial rationale and plan of action.
Displays a strong growth mindset, and ability to deal with ambiguity
People centric and ability to connect the dots.
Relationship building, influence and negotiation, excellent written and verbal communication skills and decision-making and analytical competencies.
Strong project management and business strategy planning skills, at national and regional levels
Motivated, high energy, confident, with powerful initiative.
What are the required qualifications?
Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related area is required; a master's degree will be a plus.
Minimum 6-8 years years of progressive relevant marketing experience; specific experience on innovation would be preferable.
Functional experience in marketing/ implementation of successful marketing plans, new products, digital campaign development.
Experience in managing relationships with senior individuals and within a demanding and fast paced environment.
Experience in managing complex projects and external suppliers .
English fluency is mandated (CV to be sent in English only), other European languages would be a plus.
