CBmed is a center for biomarker research in medicine with headquarter in Graz. It links excellent research infrastructure, scientific expertise, medical knowledge, national and international industry partners for systematic medical biomarker research. To strengthen our team in Graz, we are seeking to recruit an ambitious, committed IT Specialist (f/m/d)Tasks:Set up and supervise every-day IT operations (servers, network, laptops, peripheral devices, access control system and software maintenance) React promptly to staff IT support and assistance needs and provide proactive solutions Data migration to the cloud and secure transfer to 3rd parties of clinical and GDPR-sensitive data Setting up, managing and scaling data backup system for local data storage Keeping software licenses and subscriptions updated (e.g. Operating systems, Microsoft 365, scientific software from the laboratories) and website maintenance SharePoint and Active Directory administration Maintaining the IT inventory Skills and Abilities:Experience working in IT support (Windows, MacOS, and Linux machines, server and network administration, and other IT related equipment) Experience as an admin in Office365, Active Directory, SharePoint, Power Apps (experience with Azure services is a plus) Experience in data migration to the cloud by using side-by-side upgrade process management Expertise in database design Reliable, pro-active and self-organized way of working and willingness to learn Good listening and communication skills with non-technical staff to provide on-demand technical support Very good command of English, spoken and written. Good command of German is a plus Expertise in RDBMS (MySQL or similar), database design, data modelling, and process automation, experience with data lakes (Amazon S3, Azure) is a plus You will have the opportunity to work in an international connected company, within a young, dynamic, and international team. We offer an unlimited contract with a minimum annual salary from EUR 15 000 gross based on 20 hours/week. Overpayment is possible, depending on qualifications and work experience.
