Security Data Engineer Internship (f/m/d)Collaboration in the conception and implementation of data security guidelines and data processes| Working in an international environment| The internship will be conducted in-person/remote | Mentorship from experienced security professionals|Duration: 12 months with option of extension | min. 30 hours per week Work with the Data Engineering team to understand data needs and prioritize data pipeline development. Design, implement and maintain data pipelines for security-related data. Ensure that data pipelines and systems are scalable, secure, and reliable. Develop and maintain data cleaning and preprocessing procedures. Assist in the development of security dashboards and reports. Work with stakeholders to identify and remediate data quality issues. Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data engineering and security. Qualifications: Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field Knowledge of database systems, data structures, and algorithms Familiarity with at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Scala, etc.) Experience with data processing frameworks (e.g., Spark, etc.) Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills German language skills - Strong communication and teamwork skills Interest in cybersecurity and data engineering We offer you the chance to actively shape the future of Austria's largest communications company.
