Your TasksDefinition and building of a data lake architecture & data flow based on Microsoft Azure: Design, build and maintain data pipelines Definition and continuous improvement of data models as base for data science Develop and maintain data acquisition from different sources (cloud storage, business applications like ERP/CRM/B2C/B2B, databases, APIs, …) Create and establish a reliable operative mode for the whole data lake process: Create a corporate strategy for data lake initiative and optimize data storage & retrieval processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and infrastructure to ensure reliable operations; (2nd/3rd level support) Execute data transformation tasks and help the organization make better use of its data assets Your ProfileCompleted education in a technical field (engineering, computer science, business informatics or comparable) Good knowledge and experience with cloud services (storage, databases, data factory, data lake) Programming languages are a benefit (Python, Java,…) Good knowledge and experience with data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources Knowledge and experience with data-modeling and data-design skills to create efficient and effective data structures (Parquet, XML, JSON etc.) High level of independence and good self-organization Communication strength, quality awareness, and team player mentality Fluent in English and negotiation skills in international business environment DetailsWe are looking for personalities with a high degree of self-organization, self-initiative and a high energy level.
