We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Systems Engineer - Infrastructure Owner (f/m/div) to join our dynamic IT team. As the Infrastructure Owner (f/m/div), you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our infrastructure, ensuring its stability and scalability. If you are passionate about cutting-edge technologies, have a strong background in Linux administration and configuration, and possess a broad range of technical skills, we would love to hear from you!

In your new role you will:

Work in a global IT support team , collaborating with internal and external colleagues, both onsite and offshore.
Take accountability for the infrastructure management of the requirements and verification tooling landscape with Jama as the core component.
Plan and execute stabilization and scalability improvement measure s for the infrastructure.
Document architecture and operations details in collaboration with implementation/operations partners, securing them in global Enterprise Architecture Management tools.
Provide technical support to the global end-user community, assisting in resolving technical issues.
Coordinate deliverables and dependencies across the organization.
Support the roadmap and strategies development of IT R&D Product Lifecycle Management- Requirements and Verification functional area.
Demonstrate strong problem-solving and analytical skills in addressing challenges and finding innovative solutions.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

Educational background in IT, Computer Science & Computer Engineering or equivalent.
3-5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing complex infrastructure systems in a large-scale enterprise environment would be would advantageous
Expert knowledge in Linux administration and configuration , particularly RedHat.
Proficient in scripting languages such as Bash and Python.
Hands-on experience with SQL and relational database managemen t .
Familiarity with container technologie s like Kubernetes and Openshift.
Competence in configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, etc.
Experience working with common tools such as Jira, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Git.
Solid understanding of IT network infrastructure security , especially enterprise networks.
Deep knowledge of IT application monitoring .
Database skills in MySQL and Orango GraphDB.
Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and access delegation (OAuth).
Strong communication skills in English and German .
Additionally Nice-to-Have:

Knowledge in software development languages (.NET, Java, etc.).
Experience with Continuous Integration tools like Jenkins.
Familiarity with ITIL or similar IT Operations process and frameworks.
Awareness of code quality and experience with performance testing tools .

This position is subject to the EEI Workers' and Employees' Collective Agreement, employment group G (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2023.pdf). The agreed monthly salary is paid 14 x p.a.. Willingness to overpay depending on qualifications and suitability. Infineon also offers additional attractive social benefits.
