We are seeking a talented and motivated Web Developer to join our development team at Userbrain. As a Web Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our web-based user research platform. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team of designers, product managers, and engineers to implement new features, optimize performance, and ensure a seamless user experience.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, shaping the future of user research. Our customer list includes big brands like Spotify, Virgin, Audi, and Tesla, to name just a few.
About the Job

️ Contract Type: Part-time (32h/week)

Minimum monthly gross salary: €2,617 (14 times per year, based on 32h/week, no all-in contract) ‍
Location: Graz, Austria

What you will do

Develop high-quality, responsive web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (such as React)
Collaborate closely with our design team to ensure the seamless integration of visual elements and user interactions
Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability, ensuring optimal performance across different devices and browsers
Implement and maintain efficient and reusable code, following best practices and coding standards
Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and fix any issues or bugs in the frontend code
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and techniques in frontend development, and share knowledge within the team
Collaborate with backend developers and API teams to integrate frontend components with backend services
Work closely with stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide accurate time estimates for frontend development tasks

Requirements
What you offer

You have proven work experience as a Frontend Developer or in a similar role
You speak excellent English
You are proficient in React
Experience in GatsbyJS, Redux/Saga, NPM, Netlify, TypeScript, and Vite is excellent but not a must
You have proficient knowledge in PHP and PHP frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony
You have experience with API integration and databases like MySQL
You are familiarized with best practices such as code testing, continuous integration, and deployment
You are passionate about User Experience and understand key UX/UI principles.
You have the ability to work independently and as part of a team
You enjoy working in a Startup - previous experience in a Startup is excellent, but not a must
