You enjoy working in an international team, interacting with multiple different groups? If you are furthermore eager to define and bring to market our new technologies, you should seize the chance to become part of our success story! Join our team as Product Application Engineer, and you will support discrete MOSEFTs and GaN in DC/DC power supply applications.

In your new job you will:

Collect inputs from the market by customer feedback and use your system understanding to together with Product Definition Engineers define the targets for the next generation MOSFETs to ensure IFX’s leadership in Power MOSFETs
Perform full application bench validation test with newly developed MOSFET technologies as well as competitor bench marking and generate test reports and assessments which define the development projects direction
Provide 3rd level technical customer support by performing detailed circuit analysis with modelling, simulation, and bench validation to replicate the issue, identify root cause and provide a solution
Promote IFX’s power MOSFETs, visit customers and ensure design-wins
Create go-to-market material such as internal trainings, evaluation boards, application notes, customer presentations, videos, etc.
Focus on high frequency applications like: telecom, servers and data centers
Interface globally with different departments such as other marketing functions, R&D, system architects and lead technical discussions on MOSFET and application level

You drive your tasks with engagement, passion and proactiveness. You are personally committed to the customer’s concerns, awarding them a high priority and are capable to resolve technical issues until completion. Furthermore, you know how to prioritize and succeed in multiple project management and deliver time driven results. Your strong communication skills and teamplayer mindset help you to work within interdisciplinary and multicultural teams and to develop valuable relationships with internal and external engineering communities.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

A university degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or comparable
At least 5 years working experience in related industry , ideally in high-frequency switch mode power supplies
Solid understanding of power MOSFETs
Understanding of magnetics design
PCB design and layout experience as well as experience with electrical simulation tools (e.g. Simetrix, PLECS)
Fluent in English language, German skills or the willingness to learn is a plus
We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification. The employment is in accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the electrical and electronics industry, employment group H (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2023.pdf). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.
