This is your chance: as System Application Engineer, you will develop hardware and software for prototype design in the field of on-board charger. Furthermore you will analyze and evaluate system level solutions, engage in technical marketing activities with different internal departments and actively pursue new ideas and innovations. In your new job you will:

Be creative and convert your scientific knowledge into hardware solution like On-board Charger (OBC), EV charging and Residential Solar/Storage
Be a part of our engineering team and design outstanding system solution & prototypes using newest devices like GaN, SiC, etc.
Develop hardware and software solutions like PCB designs and related prototype boards, hard-& software debugging on real application
Work on and with the newest Infineon product technologies , including WBG wide band-gap power semiconductors, for making existing systems more efficient and more compact
Interact with international hardware and software specialists and bring your knowledge and skillset into new designs
Prepare technical documentation for internal and external peers

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

A university / university of applied sciences degree in electrical engineering , power electronics, computer science, industrial engineering or similar
Hardware embedded programming experience with digital controller
Experience in simulation (PLECS) of power electronic systems
Several years of experience in the design, developmen t and/or test of power electronic hardware systems
The ability to learn quickly and are very motivated to work independently
Experience in technical customer support and intercultural communication

We are filling this position through one of our leasing partners. A valid work permit for Austria or EU citizenship is a prerequisite for this position. This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry, employment group G (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2023.pdf). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.
