Your profile
You are a student of Computer Science, AI, Business Informatics, Data Science, Software Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Business Administration, Economics, Quantitative Finance or similar.

You are passionate about Data Science and have already gained some experience in your studies and on your own projects and want to get started now.

This is what you can expect:
This internship is at the A1 Telekom Austria - the leading fixed and mobile network operator in Austria, with 5.4 million mobile and 2.3 million fixed-line customers. The product portfolio includes Fixed line and mobile telephony, internet, IT services, IPTV, wholesale services as well as mobile payment services.

Collaboration in the conception and implementation of data security guidelines and data processes
Mentorship from experienced security professionals
Duration: 12 months with option of extension
Work with the Data Engineering team to understand data needs and prioritize data pipeline development.
Design, implement and maintain data pipelines for security-related data.
Ensure that data pipelines and systems are scalable, secure, and reliable.
Develop and maintain data cleaning and preprocessing procedures.
Assist in the development of security dashboards and reports.
Work with stakeholders to identify and remediate data quality issues.
Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data engineering and security
