In your new job you will:
Collaborate with the hardware engineering team to design cutting-edge system solutions (prototypes) surpassing current standards
Take ownership of state-of-the-art system solutions in the areas of On-board Charger (OBC), EV Charging , Residential Solar and Energy storage , utilizing advanced devices like GaN , SiC , etc.
Develop and adapt hardware and software solutions , including prototype boards , and provide guidance to peers on hardware and software debugging in real-world applications
Lead the entire development process , from conceptualization to the release of the system solution
Utilize the latest Infineon product technologies , such as wide bandgap power semiconductors , to enhance existing systems and create innovative solutions for future requirements
Manage the development of hardware and software solutions , from calculation and simulation to design and debugging in real-world applications
Engage with international hardware and software experts , leveraging your scientific knowledge and expertise to bring concepts to life
Present your findings in various expert forums at different levels
Contribute to technical intellectual property (IP) and research papers
Prepare technical documentation for both internal and external audiences
You embody a unique combination of

You are best equipped for this task if you have:
An academic degree in Electrical Engineering , Power Electronics , Computer Science , Industrial Engineering or similar
5+ years of experience in the design , development and test of power supplies
Expertise in the simulation of systems and magnetics , micro controller programming , and PCB design
Hardware embedded programming skills with digital controller (e.g. Infineon, TI, ST, Microchip etc.)
Experience in simulation (PLECS) of power electronic systems , PCB layout (Altium) and software design (C/C++)
A background in technical customer support and intercultural communication
The desire to learn new things and work independently
A talent for communication and presentation
Fluent English skills . German skills are beneficial
We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification. The employment is in accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the electrical and electronics industry, employment group I (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2023.pdf). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.
